1. Main Gear on Central Post.

2. Verticle Gear mounted on inside of Cone Panel.

3. Belt Gear (connected to Verticle Gear).

4. Belt (or lightweight chain)

5. Top Belt Gear. (connected to a Rod that goes through the panel. The rod will turn and move art pieces on the outside of the Cone Panel as the Carousel is turning.

6. Central Post. In this example, the central post is stationary.

7. Spokes. 10 of these welded or otherwise connected to a sleeve that rotates around the center post.

Gear structure. We'd like for the motion of the carousel to power movement on the outside of the cone. In order to do this a gear mechanism will have to be created inside the cone panels. There will be a gear on the central post that will be welded to the same sleeve that all the spoke terminations will be welded to. as that gear turns, gears that are mounted vertically on the inside walls of the cone panels will crawl along that central gear. Belts around the verticle gears will connect to other gears that will back mount on the inside to rods that go through the panels and are connected to the various things that will turns or move.
