Roof Panel Elements: Humankind's Tenuous grip on dealing with the Destroyer

Roof 1: Overwhelmed, humanity ejaculates symbols to understand the Numinous. The subconscious dips deep into that massive DNA encoded pool and provides symbols for experience when our rational mind can only scribble patterns in the dirt. This fecund mass of biology teems with birth, procreates, gives us a small window of clarity to understand, then destroys or withers to rot. Humankind is cursed or blessed with facility to comprehend the sheer terror of the cycle of life and death. Symbols facilitate our sense of recognition of the wholly other. Symbols somehow provide comfort to our structure craving minds.

Roof 2: Creation through the masculine and feminine destructive aspect. Cuneiform from Enuma elish, Babylonian Creation Epos, mu-um-mu ti-amat mu-al-li-da-at gim-ri-shu-um. And Maker Tiamet, who bore them all. The act of bearing, and laying down to bring about the crops. Kelt Brigit, goddess of fire and crops and fertility, in Manks, "Brede, Brede, tar gys my thie tar dyn thie ayms noght. Foshil jee yn dorrys da. Brede e heet staigh." Bridget, come to my house, come to my house tonight. Open the door for Bridget and let Bridget come in. Picking rushes for the May Queen, spinning about the maypole. Creating a Bride of the last of the Corn so next year she will mate again and procreate for our fertility and good harvest. Sexes and Vegetation (of course Sir James George Frazer's Golden Bough), and we see syncretized poor Briid into Saint Bride, St. Bridget. Diana and Dionysus in their grove. Ceres, greek goddess of the Corn. Stanger - the pole, the phallus. Hence the concept of virgins, Bel and Luxor (Egyptian), abodes of the harlots of the gods, Hor, Briid, Demeter and Zeus procreating for fertility, further syncretized pagan phallus worship with monasteries (of all places) in St Foutin, St. Gurelichon, places where there was riding of the phallus. Purushottama Shiva Linga. Places of sex, Paphoz, Altatri (anoint the stone), Gabri-El visiting the virgin Mary to create God. Vestal Virgins, protecting the Temple of Vesta. The sacred wife, sacred king, coitus as laying down in the field to bring about fertility. Frey as wife, Marriage of sun and earth, climbing the oak to the sun.
